CHRONIC PAIN | INFLAMMATION | IBS | CHRONIC FATIGUE | FOOD SENSITIVITIES
Take the guesswork out of what is causing you chronic pain, fatigue, and inflammation. Find nutrition solutions to migraines, IBS, fibromyalgia, and more. Take the at-home Vibrant Food Sensitivity Test Complete or Pinnertest. They are user-friendly, budget-friendly blood tests that can detect your body’s reactivity to foods and chemicals. Implement an individualized diet based on results.
Those who suffer from migraines, IBS, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and rheumatoid arthritis, among other chronic health problems, have often heard that they’re exaggerating their symptoms and pain; that they look good, so they mustn’t feel so bad; that they’re just going to have to learn to live with their discomfort because there’s really nothing anyone can do. These health disorders can disrupt your personal and professional life and be incredibly isolating.
Your pain, discomfort, fatigue, and inflammation are very real, and oftentimes they are triggered by foods, chemicals, or additives. Fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, migraines, and IBS all have a direct tie to food sensitivities. Food sensitivities are incredibly difficult to identify. Unlike allergies (which have immediate symptoms), sensitivity symptoms might not appear until 48 – 72 hours after ingesting the reactive food. Moreover, avoidance isn’t easy. Most with food allergies simply have to cut one or two foods out of their diets. Those with sensitivities can have up to 20 foods, chemicals, or additives that might affect them, and this, too, can depend on the amount consumed.
Food sensitivity tests can give you a better idea of what your body is reacting to. They are not 100%, but they can provide you with a baseline of information regarding your body’s reactivity to certain foods and substances. Understanding food sensitivities has improved, and with the advancements of testing, you can take the guesswork out of what is causing your discomfort. Based on results, your dietitian nutritionist will help you implement a diet plan that first heals your gut and then restores much-needed balance.
If you are diagnosed with leaky gut, IBS, an autoimmune disease, or chronic inflammation, food sensitivity testing could be something that benefits you. That said, improving gut health will always improve your health and well-being.

Before beginning an elimination diet you should always consult with a healthcare professional. You might have a serious medical condition that is causing your symptoms.
Remove triggers from your diet. When you receive your test results, your gut health dietitian will help you tailor a diet to remove trigger foods without you going hungry or missing out on key nutrients.
Follow the prescribed diet. Communicate with your RDN about how you’re feeling. Be mindful of what you’re eating. Focus on the foods you can include. And, if you’re not feeling well, consult with your doctor or RDN for follow-up controls.
Oftentimes our patients are surprised how much food sensitivities play a role in general health and well-being. Skin conditions like psoriasis, chronic disease like Lupus and Chrohn’s, and hitting those weight plateaus and being unable to lose weight can all be exacerbated by food sensitivities.
By identifying trigger foods and chemicals, you’re taking the first step toward wellness. We do not recommend you implement an elimination diet without the support of an expert dietitian.
